There are several benefits to pressure washing a driveway. It offers a fast and efficient means of cleaning and removes debris and buildup from cracks and gaps that you might not clean otherwise. This process increases the lifespan of the driveway and discourages mold growth on the surface. It removes fungus, dust, grease, and other buildup from the surface to help retain its integrity and restore its appearance.
Most driveways only require a water application. If your driveway has dirt and light tire marks, then most likely this is the choice for you. If your driveway possesses organic growth like mold and mildew, dark tire marks, oil, grease and organics then we recommend going with a Pre & Post treatment pressure wash. The water only application does not help prevent future organic growth as the Pre & Post Treatment does.
These treatments will help loosen all the dirt and bacteria on your driveway so when we start pressure washing the area, they will come up quicker and easier. If you have leaf and/or acorn stains on your driveway, the only way to remove those stains is to use a pre and post treatment. Typically, these stains will not come up with a general pressure wash cleaning and will need additional chemicals (chlorine in this case) to remove the stains.
Concrete driveway. Brick driveway. Paver driveway. Gravel driveway. (We do not clean Asphalt driveways)
**All driveway cleanings only clean the surface. Oil stains, rust and grease that have been absorbed deep into the concrete cannot be removed. Concrete is very porous, meaning it is very absorbent. The quality of the concrete is dependent on the builder. Badly mixed and poured concrete can be discolored, ruff and rigid. Pressure washing does not repair this issue. **
